Amala Paul is at the peak of her career at the moment after her appearance in Thalaivaa. The actress is now acting in Nimirnthu Nil opposite Jayam Ravi. It is heard that Amala was narrated the story of Gabbar which will have Akshay Kumar in the lead.
Gabbar is the Hindi remake of Ramana which was directed by A.R Murugadoss and featured Vijayakanth in the lead. The film will be directed by Krish (Vaanam fame) and produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
However, Amala Paul has not decided whether to take up the role or not. The story was first narrated to Shruti Haasan who was unable to take up the role because of her busy schedule. The likes of Ileana and Tamannah were also approached for this role but they didn't take it up.
It should be noted that the story of 3, directed by Aishwarya Dhanush, was first narrated to Amala Paul after which it reached Shruti Haasan. Now will Amala Paul replace the actress who replaced her earlier, and take her place opposite 'Akki' ?
