Mammootty to do double role for Balyakalasakhi

Superstar Mammootty will do a double role in Balyakalasakhi, based on Vaikom Mohammed Basheer's novel. Mammooty will do the role of Majeed and also the father's role in the film. The story is about Majeed and Suhara, and their love since childhood. The film will star Bengali actor Parambrata Chatterjee of Kahaani fame, actress Seema Biswas, Biju Menon, KPAC Lalitha and Mamukoya. 35 new faces  are selected based on the auditions. They will undergo eight week training in acting under the guidance of  Murali Menon, Sibi Malayil, Kamal, Shyamaprasad, KPAC Lalitha and among others. Pramod Payyannur has written the script and he is directing it too. The film will be shot at Perumbalam Island near Vaikom and Kolkatta. The film will start its shooting on August 5. Cine Arts Club
